"Furniture Construction Company"Furniture Construction Company started 25 years ago in a spare bedroom of the newlywed Peelers rented home. With a $30 a month leased sewing maching, and a dream, Terry and Carol Peeler, working late every night, started selling their 'wares' at a Saturday front yard sale. 2 years later their first storefront opened in downtown Lincolnton, NC. Though business grew, profits were always kept to a minimal, with focus being placed on quality and value. "Terry is a real perfectionist. If it isn't perfect, he tears it apart and starts over," says Carol.
